About the Role

The role focuses on preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, while ensuring project deadlines are met. It also involves managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, reviewing daily reports, resolving issues, and training field staff. The incumbent will develop proposals, oversee budgets, handle change orders and invoices, and represent the company in client meetings to discuss deliverables and provide technical solutions. • Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis, recommendations, and on‑time delivery. • Manage CMT projects, review daily reports, resolve issues, and train field staff. • Develop geotechnical and CMT proposals, control project budgets, and process change orders and invoices. • Lead or attend client meetings to follow up on reports and deliver technical solutions. • Prepare drilling packages and obtain necessary utility clearances. • Research local geologic history to support project requirements. • Supervise drilling and test‑pit crews and address rig access challenges. • Classify soil types and coordinate required laboratory testing. • Mentor and support Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline, and possess at least two years of relevant experience. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) credential is preferred, and a valid professional license is required in each state of practice. A current driver’s license is also necessary for any driving responsibilities on behalf of the company. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related field. • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred. • Hold required professional license(s) for each state of work; use “Manager” title if not yet licensed. • Maintain a valid driver’s license for company‑related driving duties.
