About the Role

The software team builds and maintains custom web applications for construction management, data monitoring, analytics, and reporting. Responsibilities include architecting applications, establishing development standards, creating and optimizing data models, implementing UI and backend processing, managing AWS cloud architecture, monitoring capacity, and maintaining live systems. The engineer also mentors teammates and assists in performance evaluations. • Design and lead development of custom web applications for utility‑scale construction management and analytics. • Establish and enforce standards for design, testing, deployment, and documentation to ensure high‑quality systems. • Create, migrate, and maintain complex data models and optimized database solutions. • Implement UI functionality and backend data processing using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React. • Manage cloud architecture on AWS, recommending upgrades and automating deployments. • Monitor system capacity, plan changes, and maintain/debug live software. • Mentor teammates, share knowledge, and evaluate technical performance of junior engineers.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering and have at least 10 years of software development experience. Required expertise includes JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, advanced SQL/database skills, performance optimization for large data sets, API integration, AWS services, and Git deployment automation. Strong problem‑solving, clear communication, and documentation abilities are essential. Plus points for AWS deployment automation and IT/networking/security knowledge. • Require B.S. in CS/Engineering and 10+ years of software development experience. • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and large data set performance optimization. • Experience integrating external APIs, AWS services, and Git‑based CI/CD pipelines. • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills. • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, multitasking across complex projects, and proven leadership.
