About the Role

The Laborer performs manual labor tasks on construction job sites, delivering high‑quality work safely and productively. They continuously provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available, while seeking opportunities for improvement and learning from others. The role requires understanding safety hazards and the proper use of work‑related tools and equipment, and may be based in plant operations or on a construction site. • Perform general clean-up • Dig footings with hand tools • Load and unload materials • Strip concrete forms • Operate power tools (vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns) • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavations, clean up rubble and debris • Assist other craft workers as needed

What You Bring

Physical requirements include the ability to push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb), repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs, and good hand‑eye coordination. The Laborer must be capable of operating hand and power tools with training, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and working on uneven, muddy, or rocky surfaces, as well as in confined spaces and adverse weather conditions. The job may also involve prolonged bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, and the use of a respirator when needed. Mentally, the Laborer must communicate effectively with management and supervision, work at varying tempos, and maintain concentration amid distractions. Decision‑making skills and attention to detail are essential for remembering, examining, and observing work details.
