About the Role

The Senior Vendor Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Vendor Management System while overseeing vendor operations, efficiency, and risk. This includes governance of vendor managers who handle onboarding, compliance such as Avetta, performance measurement, and the deployment of vendor performance scorecards. The role also facilitates the cross‑client Supplier Business Review process. The manager ensures appropriate actions, plans, and follow‑up activities are in place to drive improved vendor performance. By proactively monitoring strategic suppliers, the manager prioritizes and escalates issues to senior leadership to protect the client brand, ensure compliance, and meet delivery timelines. The position implements and oversees procurement process‑improvement initiatives and provides people leadership. Responsibilities include assigning and monitoring work, reviewing output for accuracy, coaching direct reports, and acting as a professional ambassador for the organization. Key duties involve scheduling Supplier Business Reviews, preparing data decks, and maintaining action registers. The manager develops non‑conformance and vendor performance improvement plans, coordinates onboarding with Sourcing/SCA teams, and ensures timely vendor payments, work order closures, and training outcomes. The role leads the identification and implementation of performance metrics, manages supplier performance measurement, and handles escalations and dispute resolution. Required qualifications include a college diploma in a related field and 3‑5 years of Facility Management experience, with solid knowledge of vendor management best practices and contract law. Strong bilingual communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and ethical standards are essential, while a professional supply‑chain designation is an asset. • Minimum 3‑5 years Facility Management experience with a college diploma in a related field. • Strong knowledge of vendor management best practices and contract law; ability to draft and review complex service contracts. • Bilingual (English/French) communication skills; superior organization, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities. • Professional supply chain designation (e.g., SCMP, CPP, ISM) considered an asset.

Benefits
