About the Role

The role is responsible for leading operational excellence across all fabrication facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and overall performance. The incumbent establishes performance metrics, reporting structures, and standard operating procedures to drive efficiency and profitability, while mentoring managers and aligning operations with broader business objectives. Problems are defined by senior leadership and are complex, requiring analysis and investigation. The position decides how to achieve planned results within organizational policies, may manage multiple layers of managers or directly supervise senior technical contributors, and sets or adjusts departmental goals as needed. • Promote a zero‑incident safety culture by overseeing OSHA‑compliant programs, training, and audits. • Standardize and enforce SOPs for fabrication processes, equipment usage, and maintenance across regions. • Define, monitor, and report KPIs for production, quality, utilization, and safety, delivering monthly performance dashboards to senior leadership. • Ensure accurate cost‑center, branch P&L, and regional metric reporting using data‑driven tools. • Mentor regional managers to drive accountability and continuous improvement. • Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Detailing, and Purchasing to align operational activities with business objectives. • Lead a team of managers or senior technical contributors, making decisions within organizational policies and guidelines. • Travel overnight 5‑20 % of the time to support multiple fabrication facilities.

What You Bring

The work environment is a comfortable indoor setting with occasional light lifting and frequent opportunities to move about. Overnight travel is required 5‑20 % of the time. Candidates typically hold a BS/BA in a related discipline and possess nine or more years of relevant experience, including several years in a supervisory capacity. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering or construction management, extensive rebar fabrication experience, proven safety and process‑standardization expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems and Lean methodologies. • Hold a BS/BA (preferably in engineering or construction management) with 9+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in leadership. • Demonstrated expertise in safety management, process standardization, KPI‑driven improvement, and Lean or continuous‑improvement methodologies. • Proficient with ERP systems such as aSa or Oracle and experienced in creating reporting dashboards. • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
