About the Role
Key duties include reading and interpreting load charts, following hand signals to place materials, performing minor maintenance and cleaning of tools, conducting daily equipment inspections (checking fluids, refueling, and assessing wear), reporting any malfunctioning equipment to supervisors, preparing and leveling surfaces to specifications, and assisting other craft workers as needed. • Operate cars, trucks, forklifts, and various hand/power tools safely. • Climb, balance on ladders, scaffolds, and walk on uneven or muddy terrain. • Work in adverse weather conditions, confined spaces, and varying temperatures. • Concentrate amid distractions, make decisions, and maintain attention to detail.

What You Bring
The Dirt and Finish Operator should be certified and capable of operating equipment such as a track hoe, rubber‑tire backhoe, front‑end loader, road grader/maintainer, bulldozer, hoe ram, and ross carrier. The operator must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and safely use or operate the required tools and equipment. This role will be performed in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. • Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb) and use hands frequently. • Communicate effectively with management, read, write, and comprehend safety directions.
