Job Highlights
About the Role
On a typical day the coordinator administers violation processes, tracks unsatisfactory CAT‑1 and periodic testing results, and assigns deficiencies to the appropriate field supervisors. They also generate correspondence on building deficiencies, prepare open‑deficiency reports for review, and submit extensions and AOC documents through DOBNOW while ensuring timely clearance and accurate documentation. • Administer violations processes, including updating customers' registered emails with the NYC Department of Buildings. • Track unsatisfactory CAT 1 and periodic testing results and assign deficiencies to the appropriate field supervisor. • Generate and send building items deficiency correspondence to customers, account managers, and area supervisors. • Prepare open deficiency reports for review with area field supervisors and account managers. • Submit and track extensions on CAT 1 tests with the Department of Buildings. • Work with area field supervisors to clear open ECB violations and submit them via DOBNOW. • Support the violations manager and field supervisors in closing out completed work. • Ensure timely violation clearance and maintain accurate documentation. • Submit AOC documents into DOBNOW.

What You Bring
Successful candidates thrive in a highly team‑oriented, dynamic environment and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. They must be self‑motivated, capable of managing multiple projects, comfortable using Microsoft‑based software, and possess good time‑management and organizational abilities. A high‑school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience with the Department of Buildings is preferred. • Cross‑reference CAT 1 tests, periodic tests, and ECB violations for clearance.
