About the Role
The Pump and Power Road Technician 1 performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs, focusing on returning equipment to service quickly to avoid downtime. This role supports Sunbelt's goal of providing reliable equipment solutions for job sites across North America. • Diagnose and repair pump and power equipment to minimize downtime. • Perform routine maintenance on generators, compressors, HVAC, and dehumidification units. • Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings. • Conduct inspections complying with EPA Section 608 and DOT physical requirements. • Execute physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and lifting 25 lb or more.

What You Bring
Candidates need 3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment, an EPA Section 608 universal certification, and a DOT physical examination. Required knowledge includes basic refrigeration, electrical engines, generators, compressed‑air treatment, and the ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings, along with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
