About the Role

• Own and drive design strategy across the production lifecycle, including forecasting, planning, scoping, resourcing, design reviews, and delivery. • Design and implement AI-powered digital twin experiences from concept to execution. • Create, maintain, and communicate project information to design leaders and stakeholders. • Lead multiple digital twin projects simultaneously, managing varied timelines and cross‑functional partners. • Prioritize competing needs with creative solutions. • Schedule, manage, and address cross‑functional feedback and stakeholder approvals. • Anticipate obstacles and proactively coordinate meetings or integration points to resolve them. • Mentor design team members, foster collaboration, and support their professional growth. • Maintain extraordinary attention to detail and follow‑through, keeping focus during the creative process. • Provide comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and prescription drug coverage. • Provide virtual and in‑person mental‑health counseling for individuals and families. • Provide a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. • Offer an employee stock purchase plan. • Enable participation in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion employee resource groups. • Supply complimentary gourmet coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh fruit, and healthy snacks.

What You Bring

Matterport is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join the ShowcaseX and AutoDesigner product teams. The role requires a design leader who can think systemically, craft clean, user‑centric interactions, and integrate AI technologies into digital‑twin experiences. The position is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a hybrid schedule of four days on‑site and one day remote. • Travel up to 10% of the time as needed. • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college. • Bring 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing AI‑driven digital experiences. • Demonstrate deep understanding of the creative process and project‑management best practices, maintaining workflows, reviews, and schedules across partners. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product, marketing, and engineering teams. • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, building trust, credibility, and influence through outstanding work. • Self‑starter who is resourceful and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently. • Possess strong organizational, time‑management, and presentation abilities. • Adapt quickly to rapid change, learning new tools and processes swiftly.
