About the Role

The technician will perform corrective, preventive and unscheduled maintenance on passenger‑vehicle electromechanical equipment, including inspections, adjustments, testing, cleaning and lubrication per wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting system faults, re‑railing tasks, operating maintenance‑facility equipment such as wheel‑truing machines and train lifts, and driving trains and work vehicles when required. • Conduct corrective, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance on passenger‑vehicle electromechanical systems. • Inspect, adjust, test, clean, and lubricate equipment following wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals. • Diagnose and troubleshoot system and subsystem faults to support field technicians. • Perform re‑railing operations and maintain re‑railing equipment per training qualifications. • Operate train, work vehicles, and maintenance‑facility equipment (e.g., wheel‑truing machines, train lifts) safely. • Record maintenance activities, performance data, and log files in the computerized maintenance management system. • Prepare work blocks, job hazard analyses, and safety briefings for planned tasks. • Support spare‑parts management and repair cycles on‑site. • Ensure compliance with safety rules, operating manuals, and environmental procedures. • Identify failure trends, conduct simple failure analyses, and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring

Candidates need 1‑3 years of relevant railway equipment experience, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with maintenance tools and electronic test equipment. A technical background (high‑school diploma or bachelor’s degree) and fluent English are required; familiarity with railway safety rules, fault‑finding and maintenance procedures is essential. • Possess 1‑3 years of railway equipment experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with electronic test tools. • Hold a technical high‑school diploma or bachelor's degree and be proficient in English.
