About the Role

The Maintenance and Facilities Technician supports Manufacturing, OPEX, and EHS departments by driving continuous improvement in electrical assembly operations. This is achieved by keeping the facility and production equipment in optimal condition, completing preventive maintenance, and minimizing downtime. The role also supports both operational and capital assets such as equipment, machinery, and buildings. Core duties include performing preventive and predictive maintenance, reading and interpreting technical diagrams, and systematically troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing equipment to determine root causes. The technician handles mechanical and general facilities repairs—painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, welding, roofing, landscaping, and furniture—and repairs mechanical, electrical, and control systems. They also contribute to continuous‑improvement activities like 5S+, TPM, and set‑up reduction, and supervise outside contractors on plant projects. • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and interpret technical diagrams. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems. • Conduct general facilities repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, welding, roofing, and landscaping. • Execute continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S+, TPM, and set‑up reduction. • Supervise and coordinate outside contractors on plant projects. • Apply hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics in troubleshooting scenarios.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of commercial/industrial facilities maintenance experience, including a minimum of one year working with electrical systems ranging from 24 V to 480 V. A two‑year technical degree or certification in electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power, HVAC, or basic PLC programming is required, along with documented maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade. Required skills include basic computer proficiency with Windows‑based software, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing devices. The technician must be able to read, interpret, and apply hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics, work effectively in a highly unstructured environment, and adapt start times based on business needs.
