About the Role

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping to maintain store cleanliness. • Operate cleaning machinery and clean specific areas including toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and trolley bays. • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect App to record time and attendance. • Work 19 hours per week across evening shifts, with the opportunity for overtime.

What You Bring

What will you need? Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required, as on‑the‑job training is supplied. At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury's Pinhoe Road store on a fixed‑term basis until March 2026, paid at £12.21 per hour. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week and Arcus offers flexible shift patterns, including five‑ and six‑day weeks with early morning, morning, afternoon and evening options. The current schedule for this role is 19 hours per week, primarily evening shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off, and the chance to increase hours through overtime.
