About the Role

The Proposal Specialist II will support large proposals and lead small to medium ones, guiding projects from capture through the interview stage. Responsibilities include coordinating content, schedules, templates, compliance, and production, as well as serving as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections. The role will facilitate Pink and Red team reviews, manage revisions, and participate in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses while conducting internal debriefs. Collaboration with business‑line, operations, technical, and business‑development teams is essential to develop marketing materials and mentor entry‑level staff. • Lead small to medium proposals and assist with large proposals from capture through interview stage • Coordinate content, schedule, templates, compliance, and production for qualifications and proposals • Serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections • Facilitate Pink and Red team reviews and implement revisions based on feedback • Participate in go/no‑go and greenlight analyses and conduct internal debriefs • Liaise with business‑line, operations, technical, and business‑development teams to develop marketing materials • Provide guidance and mentorship to entry‑level proposal team members • Perform self‑checks before submitting work for review or approval

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience supporting proposal activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong proposal and presentation writing, editing, and production skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and collaborative tools such as Teams and SharePoint. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, lead deliverables, and handle confidential information with discretion. • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of proposal or marketing experience (or equivalent) • Strong proposal and presentation writing, editing, and production skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) • Experience with collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint; Salesforce knowledge a plus • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and lead deliverables • Demonstrated organizational, administrative, and document‑management abilities • Understanding of confidentiality, company quality procedures, and approval processes
