About the Role

The engineer will lead the conceptual and detailed design of electric power distribution systems, coordinate construction packages, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality through reviews and analyses. They will also manage project schedules and budgets, interact with clients, and perform site visits throughout design and construction phases. • Design overhead and underground electric power distribution systems, including planning, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection. • Prepare construction packages with plans, profiles, structure details, stringing charts, staking tables, and bills of material. • Assign tasks, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and designers, providing quality‑control reviews. • Develop and deliver engineering analyses to generate design options and address project issues. • Assist in cost estimating, specification preparation, and development of man‑hour and schedule forecasts. • Lead client stakeholder meetings and design review sessions. • Manage multiple project tasks while monitoring schedules and budgets. • Conduct site visits, field reviews, and construction observations throughout design and build phases. • Perform electrical clearance, lighting photometric, load, short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash studies. • Write and review technical reports collaboratively with the engineering team.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and have prior project execution experience in the Power Market sector. Preferred qualifications include at least four years of distribution planning and design experience, proficiency with PLS‑CADD, CYMCAP, ETAP, and related tools, and strong client‑relationship skills. • Possess at least 4 years of experience in distribution planning, modeling, and line design, with proficiency in PLS‑CADD and related software. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and strong client‑relationship skills.
