About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager (Civil) supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards, while handling site supervision, contractor coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Core responsibilities include assisting in developing schedules, budgets and execution plans; coordinating with design consultants, contractors and vendors; monitoring daily site progress and reporting deviations; supervising civil and structural works, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety norms, and coordinating with MEP, interior and finishing teams. The role involves preparing daily progress reports, snag lists, inspection records, tracking submittals, RFIs and material approvals, supporting quantity take‑offs, BOQ verification, cost tracking, reviewing contractor bills, and aiding procurement for timely material delivery. Additional duties cover implementing quality control procedures and HSE plans, following up on NCR closures, assisting in client and stakeholder meetings, providing project status updates, and contributing to handover and close‑out documentation. • Assist in developing project schedules, budgets and execution plans. • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors and vendors to align timelines. • Monitor daily site progress and report schedule or quality deviations. • Supervise civil and structural works and conduct inspections for compliance. • Collaborate with MEP, interior and finishing teams for seamless execution. • Prepare progress reports, snag lists, inspection records and track submittals. • Support quantity take‑offs, BOQ verification, cost tracking and review bills. • Coordinate procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Implement quality control procedures and HSE plans; follow up on NCRs. • Participate in client meetings, provide status updates and assist handover.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates possess strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works, excellent coordination and documentation skills, ability to interpret drawings, proficiency in MS Project/Primavera (preferred), AutoCAD and MS Office, along with strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities; exposure to large‑scale commercial or IT‑park projects, LEED or green building knowledge, and contract administration experience are advantageous. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s in project or construction management preferred) and 5‑10 years of civil construction or project management experience, especially in commercial, industrial or real estate projects, with solid understanding of drawings, structural works, finishing activities, project sequencing, and proven ability to manage contractors, consultants and clients on‑site. • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works. • Proficient in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD and MS Office. • Exhibit strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; 5‑10 years relevant experience. • Experience with large‑scale commercial or IT‑park projects; LEED knowledge a plus.
