About the Role
• Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic calculations. • Verify project survey requirements with clients and contractors. • Complete surveying tasks on schedule and within man‑hour and cost budgets. • Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection. • Prepare sketches and maintain field books, calculations, and other survey documentation. • Measure work as required and observe site safety procedures. • Assist in preparing as‑built drawings. • Participate in health and safety activities on site as directed by the Resident Engineer and Safety Representative. • Commit to safe work practices.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking an experienced Chief Land Surveyor. In this role you will interface with clients and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of surveying services. • Possess a technical diploma or Civil Engineering degree with at least 10 years of land surveying experience on roads and bridges projects. • Proficient with CAD, survey software, total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment. • Understand construction sequences and standard industry work procedures. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Communicate clearly with management and staff.
