About the Role

In this position you will manage schedules, budgets, and scope, estimating work, preparing proposals, and coordinating design, technical and administrative efforts to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and beyond expectations. You will also guide client relationships, address contract administration, and support business development initiatives. • Act as the primary design interface with clients and consultants, maintaining proactive communication with partners and stakeholders. • Collaborate closely with firm principals and leadership. • Estimate design fees, develop proposals, change orders, and invoices while participating in the collection process for architectural projects. • Produce project schedules and work plans, coordinating and prioritizing staffing needs. • Address collection and payment issues and serve as the client interface for contract administration, negotiations, add services, and collections. • Maintain project programs and schedules to ensure effective implementation. • Maintain project budgets using firm resources to meet client requirements. • Oversee production of design and construction documents, review constructability, and provide design solutions and alternatives. • Provide QA/QC support and direction on design intent, documentation, schedules, and budgets. • Give feedback and guidance to less experienced staff to prevent recurring issues. • Promote an interdisciplinary design approach through collaboration with team members and colleagues. • Participate in business development and marketing efforts. • Mentor and direct project team members, including new hires and interns. • Foster a culture of design excellence and elevate design quality on projects. • Seek LEED accreditation (e.g., LEED Well) and participate in industry events. • Engage in marketing and business development activities.

What You Bring

• Hold a professional degree in architecture (licensure preferred) with at least eight years of related experience. • Be either licensed or non-licensed architectural staff. • Demonstrate high proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Architecture 2022, including plan and detail annotation. • Maintain working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore. • Be proficient in CMAP scheduling, job costing, accounting, and invoicing functions. • If licensed, maintain architectural licensure through required LUs; if non-licensed, actively pursue licensure, NCARB membership, and certification. • Possess strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills for job-related interactions.

The compensation package ranges from $109,000 to $142,000 annually, dependent on qualifications.
