Account Technology Director

About the Role

The Account Technology Director (ATD) in the Work Dynamics Technology Enablement function leads senior technology initiatives to improve account operations, data analytics, and customer satisfaction, bridging technology solutions and business outcomes. In this role the ATD provides strategic leadership by developing technology strategies, partnering with advisory teams, and acting as an escalation point for technology and data issues; manages stakeholder relationships, ensures collaboration between technology and business units; and oversees project portfolio governance, resource allocation, budgets, and project management methodologies. The ATD drives solution development by identifying needs, scoping, designing, and implementing technology solutions, managing integrations and standards, and supporting data analytics and AI adoption while addressing security and compliance concerns. The ATD leads a technology team, fostering mentorship, delegation, professional development, and a culture of security awareness, while ensuring cybersecurity governance across all activities. • Develop and implement technology strategy aligned with account objectives. • Partner with WD Technology Advisory to evaluate emerging technologies. • Serve as escalation point for technology, data, and business intelligence issues. • Build and maintain relationships with clients, account leadership, and internal teams. • Oversee technology project portfolio, ensuring governance, prioritization, and budget adherence. • Lead solution design, development, integration, and implementation of technology platforms. • Champion adoption of analytics and AI tools, supporting data project roadmaps. • Ensure cybersecurity policies are understood and followed across the account. • Manage and mentor a technology team, promoting collaboration and professional growth.

What You Bring

Candidates need a bachelor’s in CS or a related field (MBA preferred), at least 10 years of technology strategy experience, proven leadership of initiatives, team management in matrixed settings, strong business acumen, expertise in data analytics, and knowledge of contracts, compliance, and security; they must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (MBA advantageous). • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology strategy, account operations, and data analytics. • Proven track record delivering technology initiatives with measurable business results. • Experience managing teams within a matrixed organization. • Ability to navigate contracts (MSAs, SOWs, KPIs) to mitigate risk. • Strong knowledge of data analytics techniques, tools, and AI applications. • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills. • Familiarity with compliance and security regulations for technology and data. • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
