About the Role

The incumbent performs a broad range of complex technical and administrative activities focused on contract compliance, quality control, and quality assurance inspections of electrical scope. They analyze applicable codes, standards, and contract documents, monitor construction activities for compliance, and interpret contract requirements for contractors. Daily responsibilities include maintaining progress reports, material accounting records, change orders, and record drawings while providing assistance to the Project Engineer or Site Engineer. The role supervises, directs, and coordinates the inspection team, conducting weekly meetings with inspectors and the Project Engineer to ensure responses meet contract requirements. They audit inspections for conformity, issue non‑conformance reports for violations, and work with senior engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain schedules. Participation in progress reviews, coordination meetings, snagging, and project handover ensures smooth project delivery, while liaison with design engineers supports necessary modifications. • Perform contract compliance, QC, and QA inspections for electrical scopes. • Analyze codes, standards, and contract documents to ensure construction adherence. • Interpret and clarify contract requirements for contractors. • Maintain daily/weekly progress reports, material accounting, change orders, and record drawings. • Assist Project Engineer/Site Engineer and supervise the inspection team. • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with inspectors and engineering staff. • Audit inspections for conformity and issue non‑conformance reports for violations. • Support Senior Discipline Engineer in resolving technical issues and maintaining schedules. • Participate in progress review and coordination meetings to address site discrepancies. • Coordinate snagging activities and facilitate project handover. • Liaise with Design Engineer on design modifications as needed. • Prepare daily site reports and highlight emerging issues to project leadership. • Monitor health and safety practices, halting work when unsafe conditions are observed. • Provide expert advice to Resident Engineer and team lead to ensure smooth project execution. • Contribute to preparation of various project reports as directed by project lead.
