About the Role
The Field Specialist – Drilling Services role focuses on Measuring‑while‑Drilling (MWD) and Directional Drilling, working with cutting‑edge technology to solve complex well‑site problems. As part of the Drilling Services Team you will partner with experts to analyse data and deliver solutions for moderately complex scopes. Key responsibilities include reporting on drilling‑services portfolio activities, demonstrating expertise in wellbore placement, collision‑avoidance practices and MWD operations, and developing proficiency in Logging‑while‑Drilling and Directional‑Drilling services at the well site. You will also complete advanced technical training, perform hydraulics and torque‑and‑drag simulations, supervise BHA handling, and stay current with well‑construction technologies such as hydraulic expandable reamers and circulation subs. • Provide on‑site resolution for moderately complex drilling issues. • Report drilling‑services portfolio activities. • Execute Logging‑while‑Drilling and Directional‑Drilling service delivery. • Conduct hydraulics, torque‑and‑drag simulations and supervise BHA handling. • Utilize well‑construction technologies such as hydraulic expandable reamers and circulation subs. • Work flexible on‑site schedules aligned with customer patterns and take extended leave between projects.

What You Bring
To succeed, you need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least one year of experience in the oil‑and‑gas sector or a similar industry, preferably with exposure to MWD, Directional Drilling or Logging‑while‑Drilling. Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential. • Apply knowledge of wellbore placement and collision‑avoidance practices. • Complete advanced technical training and well‑site development programs. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. • Possess at least one year of oil‑and‑gas or related drilling experience. • Communicate fluently in English and collaborate effectively in teams.
