About the Role
Current opportunity: HVAC Service Technician. The role involves servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction, using hand tools and blueprints to diagnose and repair units, performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed, and coordinating on‑site work. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Use hand tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units. • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Prepare for on‑site installation by reviewing building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work. • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness. • Maintain vehicle records, schedule service, and complete repairs. • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customers or Operations Manager of findings. • Document work by completing paperwork and maintaining files. • Serve as direct customer contact, representing the company. • Determine parts needed for repairs and ensure timely ordering. • Record parts, materials, labor, and subcontractor costs per assignment and return unused resources. • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly. • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair. • Read and interpret product specifications. • Provide technical support to customers. • Work flexible overtime/weekends as necessary. • Travel regularly with occasional overnight trips.
