About the Role

The Material Handler/Forklift Driver ensures that each department receives the required materials before they are needed, supporting production continuity. Key duties involve operating forklift equipment safely, moving raw materials to assigned production lines, placing supplies in designated areas, verifying deliveries against pick lists, maintaining clear communication with supervisors, and prioritizing tasks according to the daily schedule. • Operate forklift safely and move raw materials to production lines. • Ensure supplies arrive in correct quantities and are placed in designated locations. • Verify parts against pick lists and check off deliveries each shift. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and prioritize tasks per daily schedule. • Update inventory management system in real time and conduct periodic audits. • Report material damage or discrepancies and resolve them with inventory analysts. • Generate reports, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues in ERP/WMS platforms. • Follow 5S Lean practices and adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements. • Maintain manual dexterity and physical fitness for frequent lifting, walking, and standing.

What You Bring

The role requires accurate real‑time updates to the inventory management system, periodic audits to confirm inventory accuracy, reporting any material damage or discrepancies, and the ability to generate and analyze reports within ERP/WMS environments. Working conditions involve strict adherence to safety policies, use of personal protective equipment, occasional work near moving parts, variable noise levels, and maintaining 5S Lean organization; manual dexterity and physical fitness for frequent lifting, walking, and standing are essential. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Microsoft Office skills, a valid US driver’s license, forklift experience, and preferably safety certifications. Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage), inventory processes, and knowledge of sheet metal, hardware, or electronics is advantageous, as is familiarity with lean manufacturing. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Hold a valid US driver’s license and have proven forklift experience. • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) and warehouse management software.
