About the Role

The Cleaner works part‑time on the 2nd shift under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor, performing a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. All tasks are carried out according to the company's established standards, instructions, and procedures. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing interior floors using both manual methods and commercial floor buffers, as well as vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The role also involves spot‑cleaning and shampooing rugs, dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, light fixtures, and performing high‑dusting as needed. Additional responsibilities are cleaning interior windows, glass, doors, walls, and restrooms, restocking bathroom supplies, monitoring defects like clogged urinals or lights out, and reporting them to supervisors. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors using manual and commercial floor machines. • Vacuum rugs and perform spot‑cleaning/shampooing as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, light fixtures, and high‑dust surfaces. • Clean interior windows, glass, doors, walls, and restroom fixtures; restock bathroom supplies daily. • Monitor and report building defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights. • Collect and dispose of building trash, replace liners, and manage snow removal from entrances. • Perform periodic tasks like high dusting, polishing leather/wood surfaces, and wall washing. • Use portable backpack‑style vacuum and other cleaning equipment safely.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $16.46 hourly, with pay that may vary based on geographic location, hire date, hours worked, job type, business line, and collective bargaining agreements.
