About the Role
The role involves developing design outputs from initial concepts to fully detailed deliverables, encouraging digital tools to improve design quality, and championing BIM behaviours on projects. You will coordinate deliverables for multiple projects within budget, support project resources, and help maintain CAD standards and advanced digital processes. Participation in design team meetings, promoting 3D model reviews, and mentoring junior Revit technicians across Scotland are also key responsibilities. • Develop design outputs from concept to detailed deliverables using Civil 3D/Revit. • Promote and lead BIM practices on projects. • Encourage use of digital tools to enhance design quality. • Coordinate and support deliverables across multiple projects within budget. • Maintain CAD standards and best practices with the CAD Lead. • Participate in design team meetings, championing 3D model reviews. • Mentor junior Revit technicians across Scotland offices. • Deliver project information in accordance with BIM standards.

Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior CAD Technician. We are looking for a passionate individual with Civil 3D and/or Revit experience to contribute high-quality technical drawings and models across infrastructure projects, based in our Glasgow office with a flexible hybrid working model. Candidates must hold at least an HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline such as civil or structural engineering. Experience delivering project information in line with BIM standards, proficiency in Civil 3D or Revit, and the ability to validate and coordinate models in Navisworks or similar software are required. Experience working in a Common Data Environment like ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud is also desirable. • Hold at least an HND or equivalent in civil or structural engineering. • Proficient in Civil 3D or Revit; validate and coordinate models in Navisworks or similar. • Experience with Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
