About the Role
The Senior Analyst is a key member of the Acquisitions and Capital Markets team, devoting roughly 75% of their time to equity acquisitions and 25% to debt investments. This role supports Morgan Properties' mission to expand its multifamily portfolio and enhance capital markets strategies through rigorous underwriting and financial analysis. Responsibilities include underwriting new multifamily acquisition opportunities, managing due‑diligence processes, preparing investment committee materials, and conducting market analyses. The analyst also underwrites Freddie Mac loan pools, facilitates lender underwriting, and evaluates financing structures for acquisitions and recapitalizations. In addition to core duties, the Senior Analyst provides strategic financial modeling for forecasting, scenario planning, and budget processes, while collaborating with brokers, lenders, internal teams, and third‑party consultants to ensure transaction success. • Underwrite multifamily equity acquisitions and build comprehensive financial models • Manage due‑diligence activities, including property tours and document review • Prepare detailed investment committee presentations and materials • Conduct market analysis and engage brokers to identify opportunities • Underwrite Freddie Mac loan pools and assess collateral quality • Obtain financing quotes and evaluate financing structures for acquisitions • Develop forecasting models and perform scenario and ad‑hoc analysis • Support strategic planning and budgeting with analytical insights • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, brokers, lenders, and consultants • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

What You Bring
Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, 2–3 years of relevant experience in multifamily investment analysis or related areas, and advanced Excel proficiency. Passing the CFA Level 1 exam is encouraged, and candidates must complete Morgan Properties’ proprietary Excel test. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field • 2–3 years experience in multifamily investment analysis, acquisitions, or lending • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modeling skills • CFA Level 1 exam passed or pursued (reimbursement offered) • Successful completion of Morgan Properties’ proprietary Excel test
