About the Role
• Drive the community of practice and partner with stakeholders to develop a network of technical and subject‑matter experts. • Create and implement mentoring and succession strategies for technical expertise. • Design communication strategies that connect the global professional community for knowledge sharing. • Develop and maintain project delivery tools, standards, best practices and workflows, collaborating with Digital Delivery. • Lead quality initiatives, conduct design quality control reviews and promote a quality‑oriented culture. • Ensure project teams leverage subject‑matter experts, provide design oversight and lead expert teams on complex projects. • Foster a culture of innovation and advance innovative practices within the electrical discipline. • Support critical strategic pursuits and interviews, identifying qualified staff as needed. • Recruit, retain and develop top talent, positioning HDR as a market leader. • Pursue awards, publications, speaking engagements and leadership roles in technical societies. • Work cooperatively with business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers. • Actively participate in HDR’s employee‑owned culture.

What You Bring
• Hold a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering (preferred). • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a closely related field. • Bring at least 10 years of professional experience. • Maintain a professional engineering registration and experience leading diverse teams.
