About the Role

• Perform safe new construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized transmission lines. • String overhead wire, set poles and anchors, and install compression connections. • Operate aerial devices, climb structures, and conduct basic bucket rescue/escape procedures. • Read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and assist with structural inspections. • Follow grounding, flag‑and‑tag, minimum approach distance, and PPE inspection protocols.

What You Bring

The Class C Lineman Transmission is an entry-level position focused on the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical transmission systems. Linemen work at various sites and may be required to travel to other states depending on customer demands. The role requires adherence to safety practices while handling both energized and de-energized lines. The job involves rigorous physical labor outdoors, often in inclement weather, and demands the ability to lift more than 50 lb, stand, walk, and use hand tools for extended periods. Employees may be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, dust, odors, or poor ventilation while performing duties. • Must have at least 1 year field experience and be able to obtain a CDL permit within 60 days. • Ability to lift over 50 lb, travel long distances on short notice, and work overtime/weekends. • Must read and communicate effectively in English and follow all safety rules.
