About the Role
The Polymer Center Maintenance Technician A is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on sorting, grinding, and washing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and federal and state regulations. The role includes diagnosing complex electrical issues, coaching other technicians on diagnostic techniques, and scheduling work for the team to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

What You Bring
Technicians must possess advanced knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in the Polymer Center. Duties include routine and corrective maintenance on conveyors, screens, balers, optical sorters, compactors, dust collectors, and other material‑handling equipment, completing work orders, field service reports, and daily consumables logs, as well as installing new equipment and performing PLC programming as needed. Preferred candidates have rapid learning ability, welding or fabrication experience, PLC programming skills, a valid driver’s license, and a mechanical, electrical or trade school certificate. Minimum qualifications require at least three years of maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
