About the Role
The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to managers and other staff at Republic Services, handling information requests, maintaining files, coordinating schedules, generating reports, and preparing correspondence. Key duties include answering and routing telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, processing incoming mail, and responding to internal requests for information or materials. The role also involves composing routine letters, filing documents, scheduling appointments, and compiling standard and statistical reports while upholding strict confidentiality. • Answer and route telephone calls, and place outgoing calls as needed. • Greet visitors, determine purpose of visit, and escort to appropriate personnel. • Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail. • Respond to requests for information, materials, or business needs. • Compose routine correspondence and file records. • Schedule appointments for managers and staff members. • Compile and maintain standard and statistical reports. • Maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times.

What You Bring
