About the Role
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of complex, high‑risk, and high‑visibility initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role anticipates delivery risks and executive decision needs before escalation. The manager engages confidently with sponsors, steering committees, and executives, translating complexity into clear options, providing transparent health reporting, credible financial forecasts, and early risk identification. • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality. • Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and constraints before escalation. • Manage project finances: budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost‑risk identification. • Ensure formal project closeout, transition to operations, and capture lessons learned. • Prepare executive‑ready deliverables, presenting clear options, trade‑offs, and recommendations. • Engage governance forums proactively and provide accurate financial insights for decision‑making. • Serve as primary delivery interface with senior leaders (CIO, VPs, CXOs) and tailor communications. • Build and maintain strong sponsor relationships through transparency and credibility. • Lead vendor and partner activities, hold them accountable to contracts and milestones, and escalate risks. • Mentor and influence Project Managers and Coordinators, sharing lessons to improve PMO practices. • Make project‑level delivery decisions, prioritize work, and present decision‑ready options to sponsors. • Oversee project financials, identify risks/trends, and improve budget tracking and forecasting. • Achieve predictable delivery of complex initiatives with minimal surprises and executive confidence.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred. • 8+ years progressive project management experience with enterprise‑level initiatives. • PMP and/or Scrum Master certification preferred. • Experience leading multi‑system initiatives, coordinating technical and business teams. • Proven ownership of project financials and clear financial reporting. • Proficiency with Smartsheet; familiarity with MS Project, Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps beneficial. • Ability to apply Agile and predictive methodologies based on project needs. • Strong emotional intelligence, communication, and influence without formal authority. • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
