About the Role

The Community Manager leads all on‑site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager’s guidance, overseeing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk‑management functions while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, performance issues and adherence to company policies. • Manage financial performance, develop budgets, monitor rent collections and vendor invoices, and produce accurate financial reports. • Lead leasing initiatives, create annual marketing plans, oversee resident retention programs, and resolve resident complaints. • Coordinate administrative tasks, emergency response, maintenance scheduling, property inspections and resource procurement.

What You Bring

• Require minimum two years of experience with affordable‑housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD Section 8, USDA Rural Development, etc.; affordable‑housing certifications preferred. • Education: high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or relevant housing industry experience preferred; CAM or ARM certification advantageous. • Physical demands include regular standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 lb, and on‑call availability with reliable transportation.
