About the Role
We are seeking a Tenant Relocation Program Manager to support the AECOM/NYCHA Comprehensive Modernization program. The role oversees day‑to‑day tenant relocation activities, maintains critical trackers, ensures compliance with relocation requirements, and aligns NYCHA, vendors, design‑build teams, field staff, and internal stakeholders. • Establish procedures, gather data, and develop legal/policy frameworks for vacant unit readiness. • Create and coordinate relocation procedures, including temporary relocation licenses and resident notices. • Coordinate reviews with COO division, ATAD, Legal, Resident Services, and other stakeholders. • Forecast and manage inventory of vacant apartments both on‑site and off‑site. • Support bi‑weekly operations meetings to track preparation of vacant units. • Define workflows and roles for moving residents to temporary housing. • Lead lease compliance and property management reviews before and after contract award. • Oversee post‑award matching process, collaborating across departments to resolve tenant issues. • Conduct bi‑weekly stakeholder meetings to monitor relocation progress. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve challenges and streamline processes.

What You Bring
The position is ideal for a highly organized program coordinator and problem‑solver with experience in tenant relocation, housing programs, or large public‑sector initiatives, offering a strong leadership‑track opportunity for a mid‑career professional. • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience. • Preferred experience with NY/NJ agency housing programs. • Familiarity with environmental documentation, lead and asbestos removal processes. • Demonstrated proactive project management skills.
