About the Role
The Senior QA/QC Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of construction works on‑site, aligning with project specifications, standards, and regulations. By managing both quality assurance and quality control processes, the engineer helps deliver projects that meet required standards and are completed successfully. • Develop and implement a project‑specific Quality Assurance Plan and monitor QMS compliance. • Supervise construction activities, inspect work, and verify materials meet specifications. • Conduct material inspections, coordinate testing with third‑party labs, and approve test reports. • Maintain detailed inspection records, prepare regular QA/QC reports, and track NCRs and CARs. • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives on quality issues. • Identify non‑conformances, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Oversee testing and commissioning activities according to approved inspection and test plans. • Provide training on quality standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, ACI and relevant local codes and regulations. • Drive continuous improvement through lessons‑learned sessions and innovative QA/QC practices. • Align quality processes with safety and environmental requirements on site.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. • Minimum 10+ years experience in QA/QC for large‑scale infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges. • At least 2 years of construction supervision experience on large‑scale projects in Abu Dhabi. • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards. • Familiarity with international and local codes such as ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, and ACI. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with contractors, consultants, and clients. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address quality‑related issues. • Proficiency with QA/QC documentation tools and project management software.
