About the Role

The Principal Contract Administrator will serve as the primary liaison with Government Contracting Officers, reviewing contracts, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with company policy. The role includes occasional travel to client sites and collaboration across organizational lines to support project managers. Key duties include leading negotiation teams, monitoring prime contract provisions, advising on scope and financial matters, and overseeing contract administration activities within designated business units. The incumbent will also support equitable adjustments, claims, proposal development, and manage subcontract matters and change orders. • Review client contracts for risk, legal, tax, and accounting compliance. • Propose alternative language and clauses based on sound contracting approaches. • Lead negotiations with business development and project management teams. • Monitor and administer prime contract provisions to ensure compliance. • Advise program managers on scope, financial, and risk issues. • Oversee contract administration activities within designated business units. • Prepare and support Requests for Equitable Adjustments and Claims. • Draft and submit contract sections for proposals, including terms, conditions, and assumptions. • Negotiate and manage NDAs, teaming agreements, joint ventures, and other contractual documents. • Price change orders and ensure contractual coverage implementation. • Prepare client correspondence for approvals, interpretations, and cost limitation notifications. • Collaborate with procurement on subcontract matters and monitor expenditures versus contract limits. • Provide regular reporting to senior management on contract issues.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and possess at least five years of contract administration experience with classified Intelligence Community contracts. An active TS/SCI clearance, strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, and excellent communication skills are required. Desired qualifications include CPCM or CFCM certification, experience with CIA, NRO, or NSA, and familiarity with Costpoint and other contract administration software. The ability to handle classified information, work in secure environments, and multitask effectively is essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of contract administration experience supporting classified Intelligence Community contracts. • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR and related supplements. • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient with contract administration software, including Costpoint. • Preferred: CPCM or CFCM certification and experience with CIA, NRO, or NSA. • Ability to handle classified information and work in secure environments.
