About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to address defects promptly. Key duties involve conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, and disposing of material at designated facilities. The driver must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor for spills, clean affected areas, and maintain the vehicle's operational readiness. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs • Operate the collection truck safely on assigned routes, loading and compacting waste • Provide courteous service to customers and address waste container issues • Monitor and clean waste spills while following safety protocols • Complete route productivity sheets, reports, and maintain required productivity standards
