About the Role

The Craft Recruiter will assist in the recruitment and coordination of hiring skilled craftsmen, including outreach programs, job postings, screening resumes, performing interviews, administering craft tests and serving as the primary point‑of‑contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process. He/she will analyze craft and technical personnel needs for current projects through discussions with operations management, project managers and superintendents. Based on forecasted projections and immediate manpower needs, the Recruiter prepares and implements recruitment programs for the assigned discipline and ensures efficient utilization of current craft employees. The Recruiter also supports operations management with short and long‑term craft planning of needed resources. • Analyze applicant information, conduct interviews, and verify licenses, references, and work history. • Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled craft personnel. • Train hiring managers on talent acquisition processes for timely hiring. • Ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, and other regulations during hiring. • Maintain files for applications, interviews, and hiring procedures. • Monitor industry trends in craft recruiting and recommend improvements. • Represent the company at conferences, job fairs, and networking events. • Coordinate internal employee deployment to project needs.

What You Bring

• Minimum: 4‑year degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years recruiting craft professionals; 2+ years using an ATS (iCIMS preferred). • Strong time management, organizational and customer service skills; ability to work independently. • Ability to travel up to 25%; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). • Physical duties include wearing PPE, lifting and carrying objects, climbing ladders or stairs, kneeling, stooping, and standing or walking for extended periods.
