What You Bring

We are seeking a Machine Operator 2 for our switch‑tie operations in Montevallo, Alabama. The role involves receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, and delivery of products, parts, and materials, including loading, unloading, moving, and storing items according to routing documents or supervisor instructions. The operator will also run heavy equipment, and two openings are available. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least one year of heavy‑industrial machine‑operation experience, and possess a valid operating certificate for the equipment. Required knowledge includes good eye‑hand coordination, the ability to follow instructions with common sense, and annual OSHA forklift training; wood‑products experience is preferred. • Operate three machines proficiently (forklift, knuckle‑boom, run‑around, etc.) while meeting target production levels. • High school diploma or GED required. • Minimum one year of heavy‑industrial machine operation experience. • Valid operating certificate for required equipment. • Demonstrate good eye‑hand coordination. • Follow instructions using common‑sense judgment. • Wood products experience preferred.
