Warehouse Associate
Manage receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing project material in warehouse.

About the Role
The warehouse associate is responsible for the proper warehousing of project material, including receiving shipments, documenting received material, assigning storage locations, pulling material for shipment or pickup, and operating the lift used in these activities. The associate works closely with project managers to ensure accurate documentation for receipts and distribution, and collaborates with office management to coordinate and forecast warehouse space needs. • Ensure effective utilization of warehouse area and proper loading, unloading, stocking, and safekeeping of project material. • Identify missing items in received inventory and report to the assigned project manager. • Monitor flow of project material in and out of the warehouse. • Coordinate material deliveries with project managers for customers, contractors, and job sites. • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization at all times. • Ensure accuracy of all project material documentation received and distributed. • Perform random project inventory checks to verify documentation status. • Enforce Climatec safety policies for employees and subcontractors in the warehouse. • Lift and carry ladders, drawings, computers, material, etc. • Stand and walk in the warehouse for extended periods. • Carry loads up to 80 lbs. • Climb several flights of stairs or ladders daily. • Maintain a satisfactory driving record per Climatec vehicle policy. • Kneel, stoop, and crawl as needed. • Operate pallet jacks.

What You Bring
• Minimum high school diploma required. • Able to use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. • OSHA 30 certified. • Preferred: prior material handling experience in purchasing, receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control. • Preferred: mechanical aptitude to learn HVAC and special systems parts quickly. • Hold a current forklift operator’s certificate where applicable.
