About the Role

• Research and recommend optimal insurance solutions that support both individual project needs and broader company objectives. • Lead the insurance and bond application process in coordination with the company’s designated insurance agency, ensuring timely and accurate proposal submissions. • Maintain accurate, organized records in accordance with established record retention policies and procedures. • Review upstream and downstream contractual insurance requirements and provide informed feedback aligned with current company policies. • Evaluate insurance proposals for alignment with contractual references and market standards, confirming that all project requirements are thoroughly addressed. • Interpret and apply the company’s insurance policies, including coverage limits, to ensure compliance across projects.

What You Bring

• Mobility: Occasionally required to bend, stand, stoop, or walk during the course of the workday. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Stair Navigation: Occasionally ascends and descends stairs to access different office levels. • Visual Requirements: Frequent use of vision to read computer screens, review documents, and observe objects both near and far. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Adhere to the company’s attendance policy and supervisory expectations; consistent and reliable attendance is a core requirement of this role. • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, professional team environment with minimal supervision. • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or a related field, specifically within construction insurance for utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar construction experience preferred). • Bachelor’s degree required. • Stationary Work: Frequently remains seated for extended periods, up to 90% of the workday, with sitting durations reaching up to 8 hours. • Solid understanding of ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred. • Confident and comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization. • Communication: Regularly engages in verbal communication and active listening with employees, coworkers, and others; must be able to exchange accurate and clear information. • Travel: May be required to travel up to 30% of the time, based on business needs. • Skilled in identifying, investigating, and resolving order-related issues in a timely and efficient manner • Lifting: Infrequently lifts or carries objects ranging from light to moderately heavy, up to 10 pounds. • Demonstrated customer service skills, including conducting supplier reviews, evaluations, and maintaining strong business relationships. • Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
