About the Role
The role is a single-client position within a global sustainability team, reporting to the Americas sustainability lead, responsible for developing and executing energy, water, and waste management programs to meet reduction and diversion goals through JLL’s Integrated Facilities Management. Daily duties include creating and implementing energy management strategies for a portfolio of sites, acting as a subject‑matter expert to educate stakeholders, managing data collection in JLL’s technology platform, producing monthly/quarterly reports, and driving operational improvements. Collaboration is key: work with other JLL energy managers to share best practices, develop case studies, support facility managers on sustainability advice, and help generate new business opportunities. • Develop and execute energy, water, and waste management strategies for client portfolios. • Serve as subject‑matter expert, educating stakeholders on sustainability topics. • Manage data collection and generate tailored monthly and quarterly performance reports. • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance environmental performance. • Collaborate with JLL energy managers to share best practices and create new business opportunities. • Conduct site walkthroughs (ASHRAE Level 1‑2) to pinpoint conservation measures. • Lead project management activities, prioritizing deadlines in high‑pressure environments. • Prepare tenders and work orders, selecting appropriate equipment and vendors. • Provide sustainability guidance to facility managers as the primary point of contact.

What You Bring
Required qualifications: a university degree in science, engineering, math or related field; 5‑10 years in energy/sustainability with increasing responsibility; deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation; expertise in energy‑ and water‑conservation, GHG reporting, renewable procurement, and strong communication and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications include experience conducting ASHRAE Level 1‑2 site walkthroughs, strong project‑management abilities, tender and work‑order preparation, knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management, ISO 14001, and experience leading small energy‑sustainability teams.
