About the Role

The role involves administering site‑specific safety programs and training, documenting violations, conducting audits, leading OSHA reporting, and analyzing safety, injury, and hazard statistics, while serving as a resource for safety issues and collaborating with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers. • Implement and administer safety programs at worksites, including site-specific safety activities and training programs • Document and track safety violations, conduct safety audits, and analyze loss control data • Lead OSHA reporting, monitor subcontractor activities, and review safety submittals • Record, monitor, and analyze safety, injury, and hazard statistics • Provide safety‑related information, evaluate industrial hygiene concerns, and maintain knowledge of safety standards • Serve as a resource for safety issues, attend safety meetings, and assist with major incident analysis • Work with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers • Ensure maintenance and inspection of safety equipment and build relationships across diverse organizational levels

What You Bring

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, or equivalent, or a high school diploma with CHST certification, OSHA 500, and at least ten years of construction experience (six in a dedicated safety role), plus a minimum of four years of construction safety experience, a valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills, software proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 100%. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role, which is typically posted for a minimum of five days and an average of forty‑four days, and it is classified as an onsite position. • Bachelor’s degree in safety, occupational health, or equivalent; or high school diploma with CHST Certification, OSHA 500, and ten years construction experience including six years in a dedicated safety role • Minimum of four years of construction safety experience • Current valid driver’s license • Detail‑oriented with ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant safety software programs • Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively • Willingness to travel up to 100%
