About the Role
The role is a regular, salaried exempt position based in Philadelphia, PA, within Turner’s main division. It is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of the regional sustainability program, ensuring alignment with Turner’s Environment Social Governance (ESG) strategy and regional long‑term objectives. The incumbent will develop and manage the sustainability program, collaborate with regional leadership to build and coach volunteer teams, and work across functional departments to embed sustainability practices into project execution. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting sustainability data, leading project launch meetings and design reviews, conducting site visits, increasing employee awareness, assessing program effectiveness, and leveraging internal expertise such as SourceBlue and the Turner Engineering Group to support client needs. • Develop and manage the regional sustainability program in line with ESG strategy. • Collaborate with leadership to create and coach volunteer sustainability teams. • Partner across functional departments to integrate sustainability into projects. • Track, analyze, and report sustainability data at department and project levels. • Lead sustainability launch meetings, charrettes, and design reviews. • Conduct regular site visits and sustainability status reviews for compliance. • Promote employee awareness and adoption of sustainability practices. • Assess program effectiveness and identify continuous improvement opportunities. • Leverage internal expertise (e.g., SourceBlue, TEG) to fulfill client requests. • Engage with external organizations, conferences, and events for community impact and business development. • Maintain relationships with sustainability‑focused subcontractors, suppliers, and designers. • Stay updated on market trends, rating systems, and climate legislation.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, environmental studies, or a related field, along with a minimum of eight years of construction or sustainability experience. Desired qualifications include LEED accreditation, commercial construction operations knowledge, strong project management, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a willingness to travel.
