About the Role

The role applies advanced finance principles to analyze both financial and non‑financial information, providing insights that guide decision‑making across the organization. It supports local, middle, and senior management in driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data, recommending improvement opportunities, and participating in budget goals, cost‑reduction efforts, and corporate initiatives. The incumbent contributes to project development, planning, and implementation, while managing action plans to monitor operating directives. They also conduct special ad‑hoc information requests, report findings, and facilitate communication between field finance, operations, and corporate Profit & Budget Analysis. • Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex financial and non‑financial data. • Recommend improvement opportunities to management at all levels. • Participate in budgeting, cost‑reduction initiatives, and corporate projects. • Contribute to key project development, planning, and implementation. • Develop and manage action plans for operating directives. • Conduct special and ad‑hoc information requests and report findings. • Facilitate communication between field finance, operations, and corporate Profit & Budget Analysis. • Assist in major bid and project reviews, including pro‑forma and sensitivity analysis.

Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field (or a high school diploma/GED plus four years of experience) and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional physical tasks such as keyboarding and handling objects under 30 pounds. Compensation includes a base salary estimated between $135,000 and $165,000, plus a competitive total rewards package featuring medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, a stock purchase plan, 401(k) match, and paid vacation, holidays, and personal days. The role follows WM’s hybrid work policy: onsite Monday‑Thursday and remote on Fridays. • Work onsite Monday‑Thursday with a flexible remote day on Friday. • Salary range $135,000–$165,000 plus comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, stock purchase, paid time off).
