About the Role

The National Security & Operations (NSO) Sector Finance Lead will oversee a $0.3 million revenue portfolio that includes two complex IDIQ contracts and a team of roughly 25 employees serving multiple U.S. Federal Government agencies. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance for Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), the role collaborates closely with senior leaders across sector operations, business development, project controls, and program management. • Partner with operations, project controls, FP&A, and government accounting to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans. • Analyze monthly operating results to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities. • Apply ASC 606 to contractual revenue streams during new contracts and month‑end close. • Lead merger and acquisition financial due diligence and financing transactions, including divestitures and audits. • Provide financial insight for business development, capture, bid strategy, and pricing decisions. • Evaluate CAS segment rates and their impact on program profitability. • Conduct performance analysis of business initiatives against approved investment plans. • Manage rolling forecasts, budget updates, and mid‑period forecasts to reduce variance. • Oversee billed and unbilled receivables, cash flow forecasting, and cash‑receipt goals. • Promote a high‑trust culture, transparent communication, and DEI initiatives within the finance team. • Support internal, Sarbanes‑Oxley, DCAA, and financial statement audits.

What You Bring

The position is based flexibly with occasional travel to Northern Virginia to meet business needs and support the sector’s financial activities. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred. • Bring 10+ years of finance experience, preferably with U.S. Federal Government contractors, and at least 3 years of people‑management experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and executive stakeholder engagement skills. • Proven track record of building and mentoring high‑performing finance teams. • Experience creating online dashboards and delivering data in multiple formats. • Familiarity with public‑company audit processes and third‑party auditor coordination. • Ability to navigate change‑management initiatives such as REAs and ECPs. • M&A due‑diligence and integration experience, with knowledge of JV finance and risk management. • Expertise in federal finance and accounting regulations (FAR, CAS, FPR) and certified pricing. • Proficient in Costpoint, SAP, Excel, and the MS Office suite.
