About the Role

Key duties include providing technical, process and financial support throughout the design phase, leading data collection and modelling, establishing detailed budgets and scopes, preparing proposals and client communications, and delivering compelling technical presentations to non‑technical stakeholders. The position also requires leading cross‑functional teams, conducting risk analyses, managing project timelines and quality, and staying current with relevant engineering standards. • Participate as a key member of the Building Systems America development team • Lead engineering, process and financial tasks for sustainable energy projects • Perform high‑level technical and financial analysis on complex program scopes • Collaborate using the Solutions Playbook and best business practices • Establish and maintain client partnerships and deliver technical presentations • Provide technical, process or financial support during design • Lead preliminary data collection and modeling for assigned opportunities • Develop detailed project budgets, scopes, HVAC flow diagrams and RFPs • Prepare proposals and client communication documents • Conduct risk analysis and manage project timelines, quality and budgets • Lead cross‑functional teams in developing bundled sales components • Design alternative offerings to meet specific program requirements • Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and mid‑level technical managers • Stay up to date with design and engineering standards and practices

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field and have over five years of experience in building‑systems design, energy modelling, renewable energy, micro‑grids or facilities management. Preferred qualifications include professional engineering licensure and certifications such as CEM, LEED, CMVP or CBCP, strong computer skills (MS Office, Project, Visio), willingness to travel across the U.S. and Canada, and fluency in both French and English. • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field • 5+ years experience in building systems design, energy modeling or related areas • Professional engineering license or certifications (CEM, LEED, CMVP, CBCP) • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio • Available to travel across the U.S. and Canada • Fluent in French and English
