About the Role
The Senior Design Manager will lead multidisciplinary design delivery for large‑scale building projects. This senior role combines strategic leadership, deep technical expertise and the ability to coordinate regional and global teams to achieve design excellence. The position involves overseeing design processes, ensuring compliance with standards and legislation, and continuously improving design management practices by applying global best‑practice frameworks. • Lead full design delivery for complex, large‑scale building projects, aligning with project objectives. • Provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring coordination and technical robustness. • Collaborate across regions, disciplines and business groups to secure technical support and optimise resources. • Ensure client expectations are understood, communicated and integrated into the design process. • Manage, mentor and develop a high‑performing design team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. • Monitor workload, address resourcing needs and align team performance with delivery targets. • Oversee design processes compliance with company standards, project goals and local legislation. • Develop and improve design management policies using global best practices and quality frameworks. • Ensure consistent application of standards and procedures across projects to meet deadlines and milestones. • Work with internal teams to enhance delivery efficiency and uphold the highest design quality.

What You Bring
