About the Role
The role focuses on deploying and maintaining a continuous improvement (CI) culture across the local organization, following the strategy defined by GPG/HBU. It requires applying Lean Six Sigma (L6S) and other CI methodologies to enhance efficiency, meet or exceed customer expectations, and support sustainable operations while creating transparency by monitoring improvement progress. Key responsibilities include using Lean Six Sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, TPM, OEE and MSA on the production line to eliminate waste and boost productivity. The incumbent will sustain daily Tier Accountability meetings, manage 5S and visual management, coordinate practical problem‑solving, lead Kaizen events, and drive improvement projects (DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, A3). Additional duties involve supporting other functions in Relex system projects, collaborating with the Quality team on hot issues, participating in Gemba walks, customer, ISO and internal audits, and delivering Lean Six Sigma training while ensuring compliance with safety, integrity and company regulations. • Deploy and sustain continuous improvement culture using Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen. • Apply LSS tools (VSM, SMED, TPM, OEE, MSA) to improve production efficiency. • Lead and coordinate improvement projects (DMAIC, PDCA, 8D, A3) and daily Tier Accountability meetings. • Support Kaizen activities, idea collection, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. • Conduct problem‑solving using 5‑Whys, Fishbone, SIPOC, and work with Quality team on corrective actions. • Participate in customer, ISO, and internal audits; maintain 5S and visual management. • Provide Lean Six Sigma training and support to other functions. • Ensure compliance with safety, integrity, and internal/external regulations.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a university degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, and possess at least ten years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in transformer production. Specialized knowledge of Lean manufacturing, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are required; good English communication and the ability to read and create technical drawings are essential. Experience with Power BI, Visual Basic, and designing tools, jigs or fixtures is considered a plus. • Required: University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, ≥10 years manufacturing experience, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher), MS Excel proficiency, strong English communication, ability to read technical drawings. • Preferred: Knowledge of transformer manufacturing, Power BI, Visual Basic, tool/jig design experience.
