About the Role
The Technician, Container Shop performs repairs, maintenance, and installation of compactors and other stationary equipment, focusing on hydraulics, basic electrical operations, and welding fabrication to ensure safe and productive operations. Key responsibilities include inspecting, conducting diagnostic tests, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing various compactors and stationary equipment; reading electrical and hydraulic schematics; diagnosing and fixing single‑ and three‑phase AC voltage issues; performing welding and fabrication; assisting with scheduled installations; completing accurate paperwork; and adhering to all safety policies. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair compactors and stationary equipment • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed • Assist with equipment installations and meet scheduled deadlines • Complete repair paperwork and data entry accurately and promptly • Follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring
The role requires equipment maintenance and repair experience, welding or fabrication skills, and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, offering an hourly rate of $39.25 plus a bonus plan. • Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot AC voltage issues • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and resolve hydraulic problems • Equipment maintenance and repair experience required • Welding or fabrication skills required
