Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator

About the Role

The Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator will plan, implement, and manage VDC processes using platforms such as BIM, 4D planning, site analysis, 3D visualization, coordination, digital fabrication, and record modeling. They will serve as the primary contact for construction teams, provide training, participate in the Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community, and document process improvements. • Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes via BIM/VDC technology platforms. • Conduct existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, 4D phase planning, site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization and coordination, site utilization, construction system design, digital fabrication, control planning, and record modeling. • Serve as primary VDC point of contact for construction teams throughout all project phases. • Provide VDC training and support to integrated construction team members. • Participate actively in Mortenson’s Integrated Delivery Advancement Team (IDAT) community of practice. • Perform daily work planning and document process improvements.

What You Bring

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Integrated Construction Coordinator (VDC) for its Data Center Solutions Group. The role will implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout all project phases, requiring strong communication, flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality. Local candidates are preferred. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering/management or related field. • Minimum two years of relevant experience. • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D, Trimble SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu. • Experience with Autodesk BIM 360 Field/Glue, 3DS Max, Civil 3D, Point Layout, Faro Scene, Google Earth Pro, Adobe Suite. • Preferred familiarity with Unity, Unreal, Lumion, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Solibri, animation and rendering tools. • Completion of intermediate BIM/VDC software training. • FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification preferred (or obtain within 90 days at company expense). • Strong detail orientation, ability to manage multiple tasks, and basic understanding of construction law. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web applications at an intermediate level. • Positive professional attitude, strong customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative, problem‑solving and leadership skills. • Open to change based on feedback, valid driver’s license.
