About the Role
The RNG Plant Manager will oversee the Landfill Gas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facility, maximizing gas production while ensuring safe work practices, environmental compliance, timely maintenance, and adherence to contractual obligations. This role functions as the plant owner, available as needed to meet operational objectives and coordinate with landfill management. Key responsibilities include intermediate to advanced instrument and control repair, data capture for performance optimization, and organizing plant outages and projects with detailed record‑keeping. The manager will operate advanced instrumentation, lead third‑party vendors, communicate regularly with the Market Area Gas Operations Manager, inspect and service equipment, enforce safety policies, procure supplies within budget, and respond to off‑hours shutdowns with independent judgment. The role also requires maintaining spare‑part inventory, completing mandatory safety and operational training, performing minor electrical troubleshooting, and using basic computer skills to document and adjust plant settings. Effective teamwork and clear professional communication across business units are essential.

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, five years of relevant plant operations or maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license. The anticipated base salary ranges from $76,100 to $106,030, with additional bonus eligibility.
